Buying your first home is exciting — but also kind of terrifying, right?
For me, it’s the fear of legal issues after the purchase. What if the property has some uncleared legal issues?
I’ve heard friends talk about:
Delayed possession (and EMIs + rent piling up)
Unexpected costs after booking
Green Tribunal Issues
Banks rejecting loans last minute
Curious — what’s your biggest fear or worry in this journey? Let’s help each other out.

Biggest fear is delay in house possession. I am from Noida, and every other year there is some builder or another that gets shot, delaying the entire property fully. Never go for Cat B builders in life. Speaking from experience

For me, the biggest fear is around bank funding falling through at the last minute especially after I’ve paid the token or signed the agreement.
So many things can mess it up:
Slight issue in CIBIL
Property not approved by that specific bank
Builder not having the right paperwork
Or even sudden policy changes at the bank (seen it happen!)
Worst part? You’re stuck paying rent, token’s gone, and no loan disbursal.
